Spanish Wine Dinner, Dreamy Valentine’s Dinner to Share, Red Hot Singles Party at Red Bar and Lounge, Mixology Date Nights and Activities to Please the Palate Throughout the Season

IRVINE, Calif. (December 17, 2019) – SoCal lifestyle Hotel Irvine starts 2020 Spanish style. On January 31 is an authentic and romantic España-influenced dinner feast – from tapas to churros with tantalizing favorites from Spain including an amazing whole roasted suckling pig – all paired with seductive Spanish wines. Also, not to be missed for romantics is the shared three-course Valentine’s Dinner at EATS Kitchen & Bar. On Saturday, February 15 and 29, couples can learn how to make luscious cocktails to be sipped with shared plates at Red Bar and Lounge. For singles looking for great matches, Red Bar and Lounge hosts a Red Hot Singles Party filled with optimism and DJ entertainment. The delicious food and drinks continue throughout January and February with cozy ongoing weekly happenings like Fireside Nights on the Patio, Good EATS Weekend Brunch, Whiskey Wednesdays and more.

Spanish Wine Dinner at EATS Kitchen & Bar
Friday, January 31, 6:30 p.m. reception; 7 p.m. dinner
Olé, olé and what a special way to start the year off! The culinary team at EATS Kitchen & Bar is inspired by the unique flavors and special foods of Spain. For this truly splendid Spanish Wine Dinner, they will first offer tapas to be shared family style at the table, including Jamones y Embutidos, Olives en Escabeche, Escalivada, Papas Arrugadas y Mojo Rojo and Catalan Style Bread with Tomato, to be accompanied by Albariño. Next follows Gazpacho Andalusian with Spanish tortilla, nata agria and chiles fermentada accompanied by Manzanilla sherry or sparkling rose. The following course is Wood Grilled Baby Squid with Spanish chorizo, cavolo nero, preserved citrus, gigante beans and Columela 50-year sherry vinegar to be enjoyed with tempranillo, merlot or grenache blend from Navarra. Then comes the showpiece Whole Roasted Suckling Pig served with Bomba rice and other accompaniments, along with tempranillo from Rioja. Dessert is Spanish Churros with warm chocolate sauce and cava sparkling wine.

Valentine’s Day Dinner at EATS Kitchen & Bar
Friday, February 14, from 5 to 9 p.m.
Couples can ooh and ahh at a yum three-course dinner at EATS Kitchen & Bar this Valentine’s evening that includes one bottle of wine or two cocktails or beers. While sipping their preferred beverage, couples start with a decadent appetizer to share such as Four Oysters on the Half Shell, choose two special mains with options such as Lobster Truffle Risotto with baby artichokes and champagne foam and end with a splendid shared dessert like Chocolate Cremeux with honey-lavender meringue. Plus, a complimentary rose is presented for a special someone.

Red Hot Singles Party at Red Bar and Lounge
Friday, February 14, from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
For singles who are looking for love and a perfect match at the right place – Red Bar and Lounge features a meet and mingle event with a local DJ spinning just the right grooves for a great time and possible romancing. Themed romantic cocktails are a must, and guests may just want to dress up for the occasion.
$10 per person cover charge.

Mixology Date Nights at Red Bar and Lounge
Saturday, February 15, and Saturday, February 29, from 8 to 10 p.m.
A nice surprise and a unique Valentine activity, couples will create their own cocktails at an expertly led mixology session at Red Bar and Lounge. Once mixed, the delectable, celebratory cocktails are sipped and savored with delicious shareable plates.
$65 per person. Pricing excludes tax and gratuity.

Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
